Suicide in America has been a problem for a while. Just over 8 million Americans per year consider suicide. There are about 32,000 suicides every year in the U.S. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services has revealed that in their study they found many more give the idea of suicide serious thought.
Results are based on a SAMHSA report from a survey in which 46,190 people between the ages of 18 and over responded. Currently the question about suicide is on all questionnaires but that was only added in 2008. Before this only people who reported major depression were questioned about suicide.

So-called life after physical death is promoted far too heavily in the world. It’s like some religious institutions are inadvertently promoting suicide. They paint pictures of constant struggles,strife,and hardships which will never end until you die to go to a place where there is “everlasting happiness”…where all your wants and needs are finally fulfilled. But since you don’t get til you die some decide to skip the living part and go straight to the dying part.
