You would need to consider the following reasons why bananas are good for weight loss if taken in moderation. Eating bananas in moderation can be best ways to lose belly fat. We can take them just once preferably in the morning with water before or with breakfast.
i. Bananas have pectin. They are also a source of resistant starch. This would help in weight loss because you would have the feeling of fullness and satiety. When you are feeling full, you would not want to eat again and you would lose weight.
ii. Bananas have natural sugars such as glucose, fructose and sucrose. This would give you instant energy and you would feel the urge to work out. You will exercise or even engage yourself in activities that would help you lose weight.
iii. Bananas are rich in vitamin B6 and important minerals such as iron and potassium. These promote good health and the potassium would help you reduce water retention. The minerals also reduce the risk of high blood pressure and desire to snack. We all know that these are contributors to excess weight.
iv. Bananas have high vitamin B content that would make them calm your nervous system. When you are calm, you would feel relaxed and happy. You will not be stressed. We know that when you are stressed you would not even want to stick to a healthy diet and this can hinder weight loss. So bananas would come to your aid.
v. Too much calories would affect your metabolism. So when you mind the calories that you take and retain in your body you would be boosting your metabolism. There is nothing you are adding on your system. It is all very natural.
vi. Finally, bananas have fiber. The fiber would help you maintain a normal bowel movement. When this is maintained, it means that digestion is taking place normally. The fiber also helps with fat absorption and neutralization of over acidity. This could be one major reason why banana diet is good for weight loss.
