Search Engine Optimization is the process of obtaining “natural” placement in the search engines’ editorial results. These are also referred to as “organic” listings. Your natural listings are placed on the left hand side of the search results and there are many elements of a website that contribute to obtaining placement naturally. A complete an analysis of your website, your competitors’ and each individual search engine are to be determined to get the best strategy in obtaining natural ranking. Keep in mind that all search engines are different and there is not one tactic that works universally. The key is to create a site that is rich in content and visible for all search engines.
Online directory submission is one of the most important aspects of Internet marketing. Directory listings enable crawler based search engines to find your pages and add your site to their listings at no charge. Online directories are helpful to drive the targeted traffic to the relevant website. Most directories are created by hand. Editors are assigned to categories of the directories in which they approve or disapprove inclusion into their directory.
Submitting article to directories takes time and back end work in identifying the categories that best describe your business, writing rich descriptions highlighting the information that will draw in your key customers and choosing the URL you want the directory to be linked to.
